DC – Thermopanel – roof

Application: DC – The thermal panel is used as a roof construction in homes in areas with high wind draft, eg Greenland. The panel is finished with cement-based chipboard on the outside so that the roofing felt can be fixed mechanically.

Assembly: Built-in locking system that ensures a tight assembly that also contributes to stability.

Tried and tested: Over 10 years, the panel has been thoroughly tested in many different contexts and degrees of difficulty.

Vapor barrier: Vapor barrier is built into the panel.

Mould, fungus: The panel cannot contribute to mold and fungus formation

Insulation: The PU/PIR foam insulates 60% better than mineral wool, does not absorb water.

Fire: BS1Do, MK

Construction time: The roof of an ordinary detached house is erected in 1 day

Sustainability: Panels with PU/PIR foam could be reused even after many years, as the insulation remains intact.

Efficient and Sustainable Thermo Panel for Residential Roof Construction

DC’s Thermo Panels with locks are designed to serve as residential roof structures, especially in areas with significant wind suction such as Greenland. These panels offer excellent insulation, resulting in slim roof structures. Their composition without organic materials eliminates the risk of mould and fungus, ensuring a healthy and durable building material.

Furthermore, the Thermo panel contributes significantly to the green transition as its carbon footprint is minimal per square metre. This panel enables the rapid construction of closed buildings, reducing the risk of building moisture in other materials. It is particularly suitable for roof structures that will subsequently be finished with roofing felt.

When installed correctly, Thermo panels achieve airtightness, ensuring optimal insulation performance. Simple installation is achieved by applying sealant to the edges of the panels, followed by locking with a key in the locking hole. Subsequently, excess sealant is removed for a clean finish and the holes are closed with additional sealant.

With DC’s Thermo panels, homeowners not only achieve efficient roof constructions, but also sustainable solutions that prioritise both environmental and functional performance.
