DC – PU/PIR Hygienic insulation panel – Locking system

Application: Environments where there is a lot of cleaning and where there are generally high demands on hygiene, including the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

Tried and tested: Over 50 years, the panel has been thoroughly tested in many different contexts and degrees of difficulty.

Assambly: Built-in locking system that ensures a tight vapor barrier, prevents water/dirt and bacteria in joints. Gives great disc effect in walls and ceilings which in turn minimizes costs for bearing steel.

Insulation: The PU/PIR foam insulates 60% better than mineral wool, does not absorb water.

Fire: Inquire about the many options.

Sustainability: Panels with PU/PIR foam could be reused even after many years, as the insulation remains intact.

Hygiene panels for the food and pharmaceutical industry: Optimised Installation and Hygienic Design

The hygiene panels are customised for the food industry as they can be installed without the traditional bottom rail, allowing water and dirt to run down to the floor unhindered. A curved edge at the bottom ensures a tight joint between the steel and concrete base/floor.

The panel offers easy installation by applying sealant to the edge, then locking the panels by turning the locking key in the locking hole. The excess sealant is easily removed and the hole is closed with an included sealing plug.

The design of the panel, which allows installation without a U-rail, is particularly favourable in environments with strict hygiene requirements, such as the food and pharmaceutical industries. The panel is thoroughly tested and has proven its reliability in various situations over 50 years.

The built-in locking system ensures a tight vapour barrier and prevents water, dirt and bacteria from entering the joints, which in turn reduces the need for additional load-bearing steel and contributes to cost savings.

The insulation, made from PU/PIR foam, offers superior thermal performance that is 60% better than mineral wool, while also being water-repellent.

Sustainability is also key, as the PU/PIR foam panel is recyclable, supporting more sustainable building practices and reducing waste. These hygiene panels thus offer an optimal combination of functionality, hygiene and sustainability in demanding industrial environments.
